APSDMA has successfully implemented Early Warning Dissemination system (EWDS) in nine(9) Coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh under NCRMP.
District Emergency Operation Centers (DEOCs) have been established in the Collector offices of nine(9) Coastal Districts.
The objective is to reduce vulnerability of Coastal Communities due to Cyclones and other Hydro Metrological Hazards through
Dissemination of warning to the Communities along the 9 Coastal Districts of AP.
Direct communication to the villagers and fisherman in the sea.
To provide reliable, responsive and dedicated Communication at State, District and Mandal level.
